We are now a dealer for Scott Jet, the leading performance water jet system from New Zealand. The Scott Jet is now one of the only jet drives to have a fully trimmable nozzle giving superior performance and trimming capabilities.
The new 9.5" Scott commercial pump was fitted and tested in a 30 foot offshore boat with a diesel powered 260 HP engine and achieved speeds of 38 knots, which gives comparable performance figures to a prop driven boat of equivalent power.
The savings in service costs compared to traditional stern drive setups and also because the Water Jet system does not protrude below the bottom of the hull, the expense of damaged stern drives is eliminated
The Scott Jet Race Units are custom built and fitted with blades to suit the HP application as are the commercial and pleasure units. Fine tuning can also be achieved by changing the size of the discharge nozzle, to achieve the best performance.
